Good evening, It’s good to see you with us again.
This week we have Thomas Leese to tell us how Manley Knoll came about.
Thomas is from Northwich and studied environmental sciences at Sir John
Deane’s. His Parents were always interested in gardening and his Mum worked
at Marbury Hall Nursery. He spent a year in Australia doing various outside
jobs. Since returning to the UK he has worked at Mere Golf and Country Club
and Coggleshall Grange. After 5 years he moved onto Tirley Garth and then to
Manley Knoll.
I don’t know about you but.is it really almost Christmas? How can it be
already. On Saturday 29th November It will be Frodsham Christmas Festival
and the switching on of the Christmas lights, which are the best of all the
surrounding towns. The festival is becoming bigger and more attended each
year. There is so much going on. There is live entertainment, across 2 stages.
The Artison market from 10.00 -16.00 The food court 12.00-6.00, also a very
good indoor gift market, this can be found in the old school hall. A festive Dog
Walk and not forgetting the community parade with Santa and his reindeer.
After the parade Santa can be found in Brio Leisure. Its all arranged except
for one thing (we need to whisper this) The weather. So keep your fingers crossed.
