Visit to TedĀ Brabin'sĀ Garden at Puddington, Neston, on the Wirral   We have arranged an afternoon visit to Ted and Angela Brabin's garden, 'Rosewood' at Puddington, Neston (CH64 5SP), on the Wirral on 30th April at 1:30 pm. This garden is open by arrangement under the NGS gardening scheme from February to December. At the end of April the rhododendrons and handkerchief trees should be in flower. Visit to Ashwood Nurseries, Wolverhampton and Dobbies, Shrewsbury

This is a day trip to Ashwood Nurseries, near Wolverhampton, calling at Dobbies, Shrewsbury, on the return journey. We plan to leave Frodsham Community Centre at 9am and travel by Selwyn's coach to Ashwood Nurseries, hoping to arrive at 11am. The National Collection of Orchids at the Zoo, contains 400 different species made up of more than 2400 exotic plants. I am sure she will give us a lot of helpful hints on how to keep our orchids alive!
