Afternoon Visit to ‘Sandymere’ at Cotebrook
Tuesday, April 24, 2018
01:00pm - 02:30pm
By popular demand, we have arranged a second visit to Sir John Timpson’s garden, ‘Sandymere’, at Cotebrook. Last year we visited the garden in May and everyone wanted a return visit at a different time of year. The head gardener, Rachel, thought that the end of April would be a good time; when the tulips, hopefully, should be at their best.
We will meet at Sandymere at 1pm. The cost for this afternoon visit is £6 per person, which includes a booklet explaining how the garden was created and a tour of the garden given by Rachel. Refreshments are not included, so please bring a drink.
The garden is approximately a 15 minute drive from Frodsham. To get there, go past Hatchmere and through Delamere Forest to the crossroads by the Abbey Arms. Go straight over these crossroads to the next crossroads and turn left by the Fishpool Restaurant. The entrance to ‘Sandymere’ is down this road (the A54) on the right-hand side. A photo of the entrance is shown below. (The post code is CW6 9EH.)

Please let me know if you would like to come on this trip.
